DEEKSHA

DEEKSHA has a Board of advisors consisting of persons of stature with vast experience in environment sciences, education, human resource management, engineering, communication, administration, law and finance. The Board of advisors comprises of four members including a student member. All members on the Board are eminent scholars and achievers in their respective fields, lending rich experience and expertise to the organisation A student member has also been incorporated in the advisory board to represent the student community.

Dr Rajeev Dhavan

Dr Rajeev Dhavan was educated at Allahabad, Cambridge and London Universities. A Former academic, he taught at Queen’s University (Belfast, Ireland) and at the University of West London, with visiting and other assignments at the Universities of London. Austin, Madison and Delhi. He is an Honorary Professor of the Indian Law Institute and the Director of Public Interest Legal Support and Research Centre (PILSARC). Author of many books and articles on constitutional law, policy and public affairs called to the Bar in India and England, he is a Senior Counsel practicing in Supreme court of India.

Prof S S Bhakri

Prof S S Bhakri, founder President of International Peace and Cultural Academy, is also an encyclopaedist, author, essayist, broadcaster and an educator. He is presently the Director of Institute of United Nations and UNESCO Studies, New Delhi.

Shri S K Mediratta

Sh S K Mediratta,FCA, is the President of the MARG Foundation. He is a practicing chartered accountant and a financial management & taxation consultant. A philanthropist and a social worker, he is committed to the cause of environmental care & protection.

Miss Divjyot Singh

Miss Divjyot Singh, the youngest member of our advisory board, is a student presently studying in Brookfield High School, Ottawa, Canada. A student with brilliant academic record, she is a proficient public speaker and has been involved in various environmental and social campaigns in India and Abroad. She has the distinction of being one of the youngest students to be elected the School President.
